About Us
Pune Jilha Maheshwari Pragati Mandal, Jilha Yuva Samiti is a social organization with an aim to gather and promote Maheshwari Yuva Talent in and Across Pune Jilha.
The foundation of the organization was incepted by the member of Pune Jilha Maheshwari Prgati Mandal, Jilha Sabha.
The Pune Jilha Maheshwari Pragati Mandal Jilha Sabha was incepted around 1981 and served instrumental in being the parent body for Jilha Yuva Samiti.
As on Date Pune Jilha Maheshwari Pragati Mandal , Jilha Yuva Samiti ( also known as PJMPMJYS) is known to organize big events for Maheshwari Community.
The serving body of the borad of directors changes every 2- 3 years and new Youth is given the Opportunity to run the events of the organization.
The Key Events wherein PJMPMJYS has been extravagant are
- Vadhuvar Parichay Sammelan,
- Cultural Events ( Singing, Dancing, Talent Shows),
- Sports activities ( Sporty Sundays),
- Social work for Education of needy Students,
- Pune Maheshwari Premier League Leather Ball Cricket Tournament,
- Kiddos box Cricket League for Kids below 17 years of age
- and many more.
Currently the organization has more than 170 members and our aim is to make it stronger day by day. The Vision, Mission and Values of our Organization is to build a stronger, better and future ready Maheshwari Community.
